  • ABOUT | FYI: The Murphy Brown Podcast

Meet The Team Lauren Milberger & Jesi Mullin The Pod Lauren Milberger Hosted by Jesi Mullins Co-Host, Producer Lauren Milberger Lauren has been training her entire young life to host a Murphy Brown Podcast, with the sitcom serving as a major inspiration for her to be the writer/actor she is today. Family lore is that Lauren was found in a hollowed-out television set in Victoria Station, cementing her love of TV at a very early age. You may think you know Lauren as Gilda Radner from the cutting room floor of the film Chapter 27, yelling at Hailee Steinfeld in Ten Thousand Saints or being murdered in The Following . Lauren is also a published essayist (on comic minds such as George Burns & Gracie Allen, Lenny Bruce & Carrie Fisher) and playwright with a minor in Jewish good-byes. Lauren has also written about Pop-Culture for online outlets such as Collider . Her essay on Lenny Bruce comes out his fall in the book, "The Magnificent, Magical, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." Check out more at LaurenMilberger.com . Favorite Season 1 Episode: The Summer of ‘77 by Diane English Favorite Season 1 Song: "(Sweet Sweet Baby) Since You've Been Gone" - Aretha Franklin Favorite Season 2 Episode: (Tie) Heart Of Gold By Russ Woody & The Brother's Silverberg By Diane English Favorite Season 2 Song: "Think" - Aretha Franklin Co-Host Jesi Mullins Jesi was probably far too young to be watching Murphy Brown when it aired, but that didn't stop her. By the time she was in grade school, she had very strong opinions about women in the workplace and cannot thank her mother enough for ignoring her bedtime during those formative years. After a decade in New York City, Jesi is now based in Chicago, IL. You may have seen her treading the boards of the Chicago theatre scene, saving the day on the set of Chicago Med , or heard her voice welcoming you in commercials. Jesi is also a proud actor-combatant and member of the Society of American Fight Directors. When not in cosplay at a convention, Jesi is probably busy keeping her cats off her board games.
